1. Overview
○ Date: September 10~13, 2013
○ Venue: Hyndai Hotel (Youngam County)
○ Hosts: Jeollanam-do Province, NEAR Sub-Committee on Agriculture
○ Participation: 47 people (NEAR Member regions, NEAR Secretariat)
- Mongolia(6), China(4), Japan(2), NEAR Secretariat(4), South Korea(31)(Other regions (10), Jeollanam-do Province (22))

2. Theme: Stable Production of Agricultural Products upon Climate Change
-Main Agenda: Opening speech by Director of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Bureau and Introduction of Jeollanam-do’s three agricultural policies (agriculture, farming area, and farmer)
-Discussions and suggestion for agricultural exchange among member regions

3. Presentation
1) Stable production of agricultural products upon climate change and measures for food safety

-Impacts of climate change on agricultural environments and some potential measures (Director So Kyu-ho, of the Rural Development Administration)

-Food safety measures be applied when preparing for international grain supply (Team manager Han Seok-ho, of the Korean Rural Economic Institute)

-Research cases of low-carbon Korean none-cultivator agriculture (Dr. Yang Seung-gu, of Jeonnam Agricultural Research & Extension Services)

2) Jeollanam-do’s three agricultural policies, Introduction of each member region’s agricultural situation, and a variety of excellent policies

-Jeollanam-do’s three agricultural policies(focusing on eco-environment agriculture) (Director of Agricultural Policy Bureau of the Jeollanam-do Province)
-Govisumber’ s current state of agriculture and Uvrhangai’s development policies related to agricultural technology (two people from Mongolia)

-Sustainable development plans for agriculture that respond to climate change and natural disasters (China)

-The policy that demonstrated that “the Domestic farm products are the best.”(Japan)

4. Discussion
- Discussions on the development plan of future Sub-Committee on Agriculture, information sharing, and cooperative projects
