Gangwon-do Province, a member region of NEAR will be hosting the Gangwon Forestry Exhibition 2023 in Gangwon-do between September 22 and October 22.

The expo themed, “Seeking the Future of the World and Mankind in the Forest,” is the world's first expo in the field of forestry dealing with the history, culture, and ecology of the forest.

A variety of programs being prepared for visitors to see and enjoy include 45m pine cone observatory, five themed exhibition halls, and an interactive experience center.

In addition, Gangwon-do's fall festivals will be also held in various places during the duration of the forestry expo.
