Winners of the 11th NEAR Youth Art Contest
The NEAR Youth Art Contest, held annually from March to October since 2013, aims to foster understanding of regional cultures and neighboring countries among youth from five Northeast Asian countries, namely China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Russia.
In 2023, themed, “What Our Festivals Tell Us about Northeast Asia," the contest received 827 submissions from youth representing 34 regional governments across the five Northeast Asian countries.
  • Deadline : September 27, 2023
  • Eligibility : Youth aged 12-18 from 86 NEAR member regions (77 members excluding North Korea,1 associate member, and 8 observers)
  • Theme : What Our Festivals Tell Us about Northeast Asia, Festivals You Want to Be a Part of, Festivals You Want to Tell Everyone About
