〇 On April 1, Chungcheongnam-do Province held the 7^th Chungnam-China Local Governmental Exchange Council, an event designed to explore a new model of Korea-China cooperation in partnership with 13 local governments of China.

〇 The event was attended by more than 40 Chinese officials in charge of international exchange from sister-regions including Hebei, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Jilin Provinces, from friendly-regions including Shandong Province, Yanbian Prefecture, Shanghai City, and Qinghai Province, and from interest-regions including Hubei Province, Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Prefecture, Tianjin City, and Shanxi Province.

〇 XING Haiming, Chinese ambassador to South Korea, also joined the event and shared ideas with Governor KIM Tae-heum of Chungcheongnam-do Province on the issue of Korea-China exchange at a local governmental level.
