NEAR Secretary-General Jun Jae-won visited the 12th Chair, Hunan Province, China, to discuss the future plans of NEAR for the next two years. Executive Vice Governor of Hunan Province Chen XiangqunProvince stated in the meeting with Secretary-General Jun that Hunan would carry out the role of chair in various ways, including the assignment of a department to take charge of NEAR activities aiming to promote increased exchange and cooperation in various fields. Secretary-General Jun also said that NEAR Secretariat will support Hunan Province in carrying out its duties as chair and that the Secretariat would continue to encourage exchange and cooperation among the members through maintaining a close relationship with Hunan Province.
