The NEAR Secretary-General Jun Jae-won received a delegation from the Consulate of Mongolia in Busan headed by Consul Byambadorj Donijichimbuu, and shared ideas on cooperation between Korean and Mongolian regional governments at the meeting which ensued.

Secretary-General Jun said, “Through active participation in NEAR,  Mongolia has been expanding its network with other regional governments in Northeast Asia through NEAR.”

The Consul Byambadorj responded that the Mongolian Consulate, which last month celebrated its first year since its establishment, is expecting to increase its exchange with other regional governments and related organizations under its jurisdiction, as well as maintaining close ties with the NEAR Secretariat.
