Batsaikhan Munkhtsetseg, a government official seconded from Darkhan-Uul Province, Mongolia, completed her two-year term of appointment on October 19.  

Ms. Batsaikhan has been  in charge of liaison and coordination with Mongolian member regional governments. She also provided editing, translation, interpretation support when necessary for two years, thereby contributing significantly to the work of the NEAR Secretariat.

On behalf of Secretary-General Kim Ok-chae, Acting Secretary-General Yim Eun-jin, director of the Department of Planning and Public Relations delivered the appreciation plaque and commemorative gift to Ms. Batsaikhan in recognition of her dedication and efforts. Ms. Batsaikhan said that she was able to learn much about international exchange by participating in large scale international events, including the General Assembly and the Working Committee, during her stay at the NEAR Secretariat.
