Toweringly majetic “Snow Valley”

We would like to introduce the limited-time Snow Valley Festival available only until June 25.

You can take photos next to the massive snow mounds that reach up to 20 meters in height and take a leisurely stroll to explore the surroundings. The striking contrast between the pure white walls and the vibrant spring sky makes it one of the most impressive landscapes in Toyama. This snowy path traverses one of the highest sections of the Alpine Route, just 500 meters lower in altitude than the summit of Mount Tateyama at 3,015 meters. The road is only wide enough for vehicles to pass and can be traversed on foot from mid-April to the end of June.
