The Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Province published a report on its official WeChat account detailing its participation in the 15th NEAR General Assembly, which was held from July 11 to 13 at the Liaoning Friendship Guesthouse in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China.
Zhang Xiaomei, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Province, met with NEAR Secretary-General Lim Byung-jin and commended the NEAR platform for its strengths in promoting regional cooperation and people-to-people exchange. On the sidelines of the assembly, she also engaged in exchanges with delegations from various regional governments, including Tomsk region and the Republic of Buryatia in Russia; Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do, and Daejeon Metropolitan City in Korea; Turkistan Region in Kazakhstan; Chuy Region in Kyrgyzstan; and Bulgan Province in Mongolia.
