Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, published a report on its official WeChat account detailing its participation in the 15th NEAR General Assembly, held from July 11 to 13 at the Liaoning Friendship Guesthouse in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China.
Liu Yuantao, Deputy Director of the Ankang Municipal Government, introduced Ankang’s traditional Chinese medicine industry during the assembly and delivered a report on the outcomes of the 2nd NEAR Subcommittee on Traditional Medicine, which was held in Ankang from April 28 to 30 this year.
On the sidelines of the assembly, the Ankang delegation met with Igor Khalbayev, Director of the Department of External Relations of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, and Alexandra Ponomaryova, Head of the Ulan-Ude Representative Office, to exchange views on establishing a friendship city relationship between Ankang and Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatia.
