Incheon Metropolitan City, a member government of NEAR, announced plans to strengthen its role as a global city by actively participating as a key city in the 2025 Korea–China Governors’ Meeting and the 2025 Korea–Japan Governors’ Meeting, in collaboration with the Council of Governors of the Republic of Korea.
Yoo Jeong-bok, Mayor of Incheon and concurrently Chair of the Council of Governors, is expected to lead both meetings on behalf of the Council, further solidifying Incheon’s leadership in intergovernmental diplomacy.
The 3rd Korea–China Governors’ Meeting will be held in Seoul from September 8 to 10, while the 8th Korea–Japan Governors’ Meeting will take place in Incheon from November 11 to 13.
