CHEPCHUGOVA Alina, a new government official seconded from Tomsk Region to the NEAR Secretariat, received a letter of appointment from Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin on September 9.
As a seconded official at the Department of International Cooperation, Ms. Chepchugova will be in charge of liaison and coordination with the Russian NEAR member regions.
Ms. Chepchugova, who is highly proficient in both English and Chinese, has gained abundant foreign affairs experience while working at the administrative office of Tomsk Region and a research institution, and is expected to successfully carry out her duty for the development of the NEAR Secretariat.
