Ambassador Koo Hyun-mo for International Relations of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Korea Visits the NEAR Secretariat on September 242020-09-24

Newly Appointed Ambassador Koo Hyun-mo for International Relations of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province visited the NEAR Secretariat and NEAR Secretary General Kim Ok-chae on Thursday, September 24. Mr. Koo watched a presentation on the roles of NEAR by the executives of the Secretariat and exchanged opinions on how to improve international exchange and cooperation with them.


Since he was appointed as a Korean diplomat in 1991, Ambassador Koo had served as the Minister Counselor to the Korean Embassy in Libya, the Vice Consul General of the Korean Consulate General in Huston, Texas, USA, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Korean Embassy in Bahrain. He stated he would actively support the development of NEAR, going forward.
