The Gyeongsangbuk-do Independence Movement Memorial promotes various projects along with the residents to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Independence Movement and the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea. Celebrations will start with a variety of cultural events themed, ‘One Cry, One Gyeongbuk.’ Departing from previous traditions, the celebrations will include a diverse array of events, including traditional music performances and a musical gala show; lectures; the reading of the Declaration of Independence together, a poetry recital by the descendants of independence activist, and the singing of Independence Day songs. Furthermore, participants will be invited to view the ‘Hurrah Relay for Freedom’ video and cry out “hurrah” as one.
