NEAR Secretary General Jun Jae-won met with Mr. Kanazawa, Vice Governor of Hyogo Prefecture during the visit to Hyogo Prefectural Office on July 30 (Thu). Hyogo Prefecture has hosted the NEAR Sub-Committee on Disaster Prevention since 2002 to contribute to enhancing the ability to prevent disasters in Northeast Asia. NEAR Secretary General's visit to Hyogo Prefecture was a platform to build mutual trust and cooperative relations between Hyogo Prefecture and the NEAR Secretariat and Secretary General requested Hyogo’s continued support and cooperation.
