Governor KIM Du-Kwan of Gyeongsangnam-do Province, Korea paid an official visit to Hyogo prefecture to meet with Governor Toshizo Ido and sign a Letter of Intent on Friendly Relations and Cooperation. Hyogo, which is inhabited by quite a number of Koreans from Gyeongsangnam-do, has been actively engaged in promoting exchanges between parliaments, youths and sports. Through this LOI, both parties agreed to strengthen cooperation and exchanges in human resources, culture and economy.
