Mr. Kim served the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) for 30 years as the Director of Russia and CIS head office, North America head office as well as other overseas offices in Helsinki, London, Jedda, Kuala Lumpur and Warsaw.  He expressed his commitment to expand organizational capability of NEAR and promote substantive cooperation among NEAR member regions in a concrete manner.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lee Hae Doo, Kim's predecessor, left the office after five years to join Uiduk University as a chair professor.
