Secretary-General Kim Ok-chae and the NEAR Secretariat staff visited Ulsan Metropolitan City, which applied for the next chair regional government, on July 15. They met with Mayor Song Chul-ho, Ambassador Cho Jai-chel for International Relations, and others.

There, Secretary-General Kim presented the Secretariat’s roles to assist the chair and international exchange events expected to occur in the future. As the next chair, Mayor Song stated that he would make an effort to expand exchange and cooperation among NEAR member regional governments by collaborating with the Secretariat.
