〇 On July 9, Park Heong-joon, the mayor of Busan, met with the members of Korea-Japan Parliamentarians’ Union for Friendship of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan at the Busan City Hall, and discussed ways of mutual exchange and cooperation between Busan and Japan.
〇 During the meeting, Mr. Park stated that Busan city is working on measures to promote its tourism industry and requested Japan’s support in encouraging more Japanese tourists to visit Busan.
〇 The meeting was attended by 10 members of the union, including Masaharu Nakagawa, Shu Watanabe, and Tomoko Abe, as well as Oscar Tsuyoshi, the Consul General of Japan in Busan.
