Chinese Ambassador DAI Bing to South Korea Sends a Reply to the NEAR Secretary-General’s Congratulatory Letter on His Appointment

DAI Bing, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, expressed his gratitude to Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin for sending a congratulatory letter on his appointment. In his reply, Ambassador Dai Bing emphasized his commitment to actively cooperating with NEAR to promote exchange and cooperation with the NEAR Secretariat, regional governments of Korea and China, and the Northeast Asian region. Previously on January 3, Mr. Lim had sent a congratulatory letter to Mr. Dai Bing.



During his meeting with the Chinese Ambassador, who was visiting Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Government Office on January 17, Mr. Lim introduced NEAR as the largest multilateral exchange platform among Northeast Asian regional governments and thanked the Embassy of China for its strong support. Additionally, Mr. Lim requested the Ambassador’s keen interest and continued support for NEAR’s upcoming events, including the NEAR General Assembly, which is scheduled to be held in Liaoning Province, China, in June 2025.
