〇 이철우 경상북도 지사는 4.15-4.19 중국 랴오닝성과 몽골 울란바타르시를 방문하였다.

〇 이철우 지사는 랴오닝성을 방문하여 △리러청 랴오닝성장 면담, △경상북도-랴오닝성 우호교류 협정서 체결 등을 진행하였다. 

- 경상북도는 제14차 NEAR 총회에서 NEAR 사무국의 주선으로 중국 랴오닝성과 우호교류 의향서를 체결한 바 있다.  

〇 또한, 이 지사는 몽골 울란바타르시에서 NEAR 사무국의 주선으로 NEAR 몽골 회원 (부)단체장들과 간담회를 개최하여, 경상북도와 몽골 회원단체간의 교류 협력 방안에 대해 심도 있게 논의하였다.
