• Establishment meeting in October 2013 (October every other year since then) – Promote connection with the Agriculture Fair (hosting the forum, viewing the agriculture fair, and sightseeing in the province)

Background and Purpose

• Devise NEAR method that can solve the crisis of production and supply of crops caused by environmental changes.
• Exchange technology information and agro-industrial information for mutual prosperity. Ex) Produce environment-friendly agricultural products.

Major Activities

• Exchange technology (new technology) and agro-industrial information (ex. superior polices).
• Joint research in agro-industrial fields. (Discussing the mutual ripple-effect tasks in the member states).
• Ex. Manufacturing technology of environment-friendly agricultural products, selecting export promising items outside NEAR, joint research, etc.
