YUAN Mindao, vice-chairman of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), visited South Korea at the invitation from the Governors Association of the Republic of Korea (GAROK). There Mr. Yuan met with dignitaries including YU Min-bong, secretary-general of the GAROK, SHIN Jeong-seung, chairman of the Korea China Friendship Association (KCFA), CHUNG Ku-chong, chairman of the Korea-Japan Cultural Exchange Council, KWON Byung-hyun, former Korean ambassador to China, LEE Jong-guk, vice-president of the Korea Foundation (KF), LEE Hee-sup, secretary-general of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), and QU Huan, chairman of the Korea China Association for Cultural Exchange, sharing ideas on promoting humanities exchange and inter-regional cooperation between Korea and China.
