〇 On March 25, Governor of Gangwon State KIM Jin-Tae and Vice Governor of Tottori Prefecture KAMEI Kazuyoshi met to commemorate the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of the sister city partnership between the two regions. Mr. Kim expressed his gratitude to Tottori Prefecture for sending a delegation to the Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Games in January, even as the prefecture recovered from an earthquake.

〇 The 35-member delegation from Tottori Prefecture, led by Mr. Kamei, will travel to Chuncheon, Gangneung, and Donghae from March 25 to 26, meeting with agricultural manufacturers from Chuncheon and Duwon Shipping Co., Ltd. to discuss the potential resumption of shipping routes between Donghae and Sakaiminato Port.

〇 Gangwon State and Tottori Prefecture renewed their friendship agreement on July 4, 2023 and reaffirmed their 30-year commitment during the 7^th Korea-Japan Governors Meeting.
