HU Yuting Inaugurated as the New Governor of Jilin Province, China 

On May 6, HU Yuting, the former CCP secretary of Liaoning Province and secretary of Dalian City, was elected as the new governor of Jilin Province, China, a member region of NEAR. 

Mr. Hu acquired his MBA degree in management from Beijing University and once served as the deputy governor of Shanxi Province, the CCP deputy secretary of Liaoning Province and the CCP secretary of Dalian City.

Since Jilian Province joined NEAR as an official member in 2014, it has played a leading role in building a peaceful economic community in Northeast Asia, founding the NEAR Subcommittee on International Exchange of Human Resources in 2017 and jointly hosting the “Northeast Asia Regional Cooperation Roundtable” with NEAR in 2019.
