The 8^th Eastern Economic Forum, the largest business event in the Far Eastern region of Russia will be held between September 10 and 13, 2023. It will take place at the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island, Vladivostok, Russia. The event will be organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

The Eastern Economic Forum has been held annually since 2015 and is an important forum focussing on investment and development in the Far Eastern region of Russia. Last year’s event, held in 2022, had more than 7,000 participants from 68 countries and over 700 companies, with Russian President Putin also in attendance.

Various events are planned during the forum. The forum plans to establish and activate a community of Russian and global investors, organize events for experts who would evaluate the economic potential of the Far Eastern region, and promote construction projects in the Far Eastern advanced development areas. 

Moreover, there will be business dialogues with major Asia-Pacific cooperation countries and ASEAN, economic panel sessions, and more than 100 business conferences, including the round-table talks. In addition, there will be an exhibition called “Eastern Street” showcasing the culture and traditions of the surrounding countries.
