○ The Governors Association of the Republic of Korea plans to gradually move its current office in Seoul to Sejong Metropolitan City and complete the relocation by 2027.

○ Mayor CHOI Min-ho said, “I expect that the relocation of its current office to Sejong will drive the development of the era of localization, based on close cooperation between the central and local governments.

○ The Governors Association of the Republic of Korea is an administrative consultative body consisting of 17 governors and mayors that plays a bridging role between the central and local governments and actively supports international exchange of local governments, thereby leading the development of local governments.
