Join History
- Tuv and Selenge joined the Association at the Annual Meeting in Tomaya in 1998.
- Ulaanbaatar and other 19 Aimags join the Association at the Annual Meeting in Busan in 2006. (All Aimags in Mongolia joined)
Main Activity
- After Tuv and Selenge firstly joined the Association at Annual Meeting in Toyama in 1998, as the concern of Mongolia focused on economic development recently, 19 Aimags in of Mongolia applied for and get approved membership of the Association at Annual Meeting in Busan in 2006. As a result, all Aimags in Mongol have completely joined the Association and Mongolia holds the biggest number of members in the Association. In addition, Mongolian members are actively involved in various activities of the Association.
- Mongolian members asked to jointly participate in the Yellow Dust Protection project, which is caused by the Gobi Desert. Mongol participated in the Duman river River projec tProject, recently promoted by UNDP, and havehas accelerated economic development with its unlimited natural resources.
- Sub-Committee on Women and Children for the purpose of protection of Northeast Asian women and children's rights was held in Dornod Province in 2011.
