Background

• To seek plans to integrate regions with great possibility of mutual development through utilizing economic potential of the Northeast Asian region.

Purpose

• To mutually devise territorial cooperation measures such as building tourism, finance, transportation, and customs infrastructures in the future among the member regional governments of NEAR.

Major Activities

• Needs to supplement economic of regions as a foundation to expand deep cooperation for integration between countries.
• Increase in quantity of trades between countries sharing borders and of exchange in tourism, culture and education sector on borders.
