Membership History
- Heilongjiang and Henan joined as Association founders at the 1st Annual Meeting in Gyeongsangbuk-do in 1996
- Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region joined the Association at the 3rd Annual Meeting in Hyogo in 2000
- Hubei and Hunan joined the Association at the 6th Annual Meeting in Busan in 2006
- Jilin Province joined the Association at the 10th General Assembly in Jeollanam-do Province, South Korea in 2014
- Liaoning Province joined the Association at the 13th General Assembly hosted by the Republic of Sakha, Russia, in 2021
- Gansu Province joined the Association at the 14th General Assembly hosted by the Ulsan Metropolitan City, South Korea in 2023
- Qinghai Province joined the Association at the 14th High-Level Working Committee hosted by Liaoning Province, China, in 2024
Major Activity
- Heilongjiang, Henan and Shandong participated at the Organization Meeting in Gyeongsangbuk-do in 1996.
- Hosting the 4th Meeting of Working Committee in Heilongjiang in 2004. Propose establishing Secretariat and emblem of the Association.
- Hosting the 5th Annual Meeting in Heilongjiang in 2004. Deciding on the setting Secretariat at Gyeongsangbuk-do. Discussion on the membership fee. Participation of Rasun and Hamgyeongbuk-do of North Korea. Adopting the <Harbin Declaration>
- Hosting the 6th Meeting of Working Committee in Shandong in 2007. Propose Membership fee and establishing Sub-committee
- The 7th Annual Meeting will be in Shandong in 2008. Exhibitions for local cooperation in Northeast Asia will be promoted during the Annual Meeting, such as “International Exhibition for Environment friendly Business” and “Conference of Natural Protection Business in Northeast Asia”.
- The 8th Working Committee was held in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in 2011. Long-term placement of the Secretariat and creation of Sub-Committees on Agriculture and Life and Medical Industry
- The 9th General Assembly was held in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in 2012 and long-term placement of the Secretariat was approved and Membership fee system was rejected.
