4. Overview
A. Purpose
To promote mutual development through agriculture related information and interchange of technology including consideration of NEAR’s countermeasures to solve the crisis of stable production ∙ supply of crops by natural environment influences such as global unusual weather and production of eco-friendly farm products

B. Project Contents
1) Topic: Action plan for sustainable environmentally-friendly agriculture
2) Opening speech from the Vice Governor of Administration of Jeollanam-do Province and congratulatory address from NEAR Secretary General
3) Key-note speech from Section Chief of Organic Farming Department of the National Institute of Agricultural Science, introduction to the agricultural policy of Jeollanam-do Province from the Agricultural Policy Division of Jeollanam-do Province
4) Case presentation of environmentally-friendly agriculture and presentation from participating groups
a) Presentation of NEAR members: Heilongjiang Province (China), Shimane Prefecture (Japan), Selenge Province (Mongolia), Khabarovsk Territory (Russia)
5) Industrial inspection: Visit to Rice Processing Complex(RPC) and International Agriculture Exhibition
