The appointment ceremony of Shi Shu Yao from Jilin Province, China was held on September 9 at the NEAR Secretariat office. Ms.Shi Shu Yao will be in charge of opinion coordination and liaison among the member regions for a period of one year. It is expected that she will be able to contribute actively to the secretariat owing to her knowledge of Korean culture and language.
