NEAR Secretary-General Delivers a Congratulatory Message to the 5th Language & Culture Exchange Meeting between Korean and Chinese College Students2024-03-19

Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin delivered a congratulatory message through video during the opening ceremony of the 5th Language & Culture Exchange Meeting between Korean and Chinese College Students, an event hosted by the Department of Chinese Language & Culture at Yeungnam University and sponsored by NEAR and the Chinese Consulate-General in Busan. CHEN Ribiao, Chinese Consul-General in Busan, also sent a video message to express his congratulations on the successful holding of the event.

During his message, Mr. Lim stressed the importance of exchange between the college students in developing South Korea-China relations, hoping that this exchange meeting will serve as a valuable opportunity for the students from the both nations to have a deeper understanding in each other’s language and culture.



The Language & Culture Exchange Meeting between Korean and Chinese College Students has been organized by Yeungnam University annually since 2020, aimed at promoting mutual understanding between Korean and Chinese college students and providing with language-learning opportunities. This year’s event was participated by 40 students (20 for each nation) exchanging ideas in a weekly discussion program.
