○ On May 23, Gangwon State engaged in bilateral meetings with Primorsky and Irkutsk Regions of Russia, and Tuv Province of Mongolia during the 2024 NEAR Member Workshop, which was organized by the NEAR Secretariat. Through one-on-one meetings, Gangwon State laid the foundation for strengthening exchange and cooperation with these regions.
○ Gangwon State – Primorsky Region Meeting Points: Resumed the Exchange Project Planning Consultation after a five-year suspension. Agreed and signed seven projects.

○ Gangwon State – Irkutsk Region Meeting Points: Expressed hopes for bilateral exchange utilizing tourism resources such as beautiful natural landscapes in Gangwon State and Lake Baikal in Irkutsk Region.
○ Gangwon State – Tuv Province Meeting Points: Invited a youth performance group (20 members) to the 22th Gangneung International Youth Art Festival in Gangwon State.
