President of Russia Vladimir Putin made an official visit to Mongolia from September 2 to 3 to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the victory in the Battles of Khalkhin Gol, the 75th anniversary of the Mongolian-Russian Joint Venture “Ulaanbaatar Railway,” and the 100th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia.
During his visit to Mongolia, President Putin engaged in an official meeting with President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. As the outcomes of their official talks, the two countries signed the Agreement on the Development of the Blueprint for the Expansion and Renovation of the Third Thermal Power Station in Ulaanbaatar City of Mongolia, the Agreement on Cooperation in the Supply of Oil and Petroleum Products, and the Agreement on Cooperation in the Pest Infection Dynamics Research.
The meeting also covered advancing cooperation in humanity exchange.
