1) Objective : Pan East Sea Region’s environmental preservation is comprehensively and objectively understood and expressed to contribute to the development of initiatives for maritime environmental preservation.

2) content: With focus on East Sea, Chapter 1 discussed oceanological characteristics, Chapter 2 discussed the influence of the ocean on the lifestyle and culture of people in the Pan East Sea Region, and Chapter 3 discussed the maritime environmental values and data in relation to the environmental administration of each country in the Pan East Sea Region (Korea, China, Japan, and Russia).
