YUN Sung-uk and KIM Min-ji, who were seconded to the Secretariat from Gyeongsangbuk-do, received their appointment letters from Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin on January 12. They assumed the positions of Director and Deputy-Director of Planning and Public Relations, respectively.

Based on their years of experience working in Gyeongbuk-do Provincial Office, Mr. Yun and Ms. Kim will carry out related tasks to promote exchange and cooperation among NEAR member regions and new projects promoted by the NEAR Secretariat.

Director WOO Dae-beom and Deputy-Director CHU Eun-ju of Planning and Public Relations, who were seconded to the Secretariat from January 23, 2023, ended their secondment on January 22, 2024. Secretary-General Lim Byung-jin presented them with commemorative plaques in appreciation of their hard work and achievements at the Secretariat over the past year.
