On January 25, Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin paid a courtesy visit to Governor LEE Cheol-woo at the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Office. During the meeting, Secretary-General Lim discussed the Secretariat's work direction for the year, new project initiatives, and the revision of the NEAR Charter, which includes the establishment of a special membership clause. He sought Governor Lee's continued interest and support for the Secretariat.

Mr. Lee expressed his active support for the Secretariat's work direction, new projects, and the establishment of special membership.

Additionally, during the visit, Mr. Lim met with CHOI Young-sook, Director of Economy and Bureau, and CHAE Jin-weon, Ambassador for International Affairs. He provided an overview of NEAR's initiatives for the year and requested active participation and support for NEAR events.
