○ On February 15, Governor KIM Tae-hum of Chungcheongnam-do met with Governor YAMASHITA Makoto of Nara Prefecture at a Korean restaurant in Tokyo.

During the meeting, the following points were discussed:

① Plans for holding a K-pop concert in Nara Prefecture next year

② One-on-one exchanges between director-level officials

③ Exchange visits between governors

④ Agreement to hold a forum or symposium on the topic of Baekje

○ It's worth noting that Chungcheongnam-do and Nara Prefecture signed a friendship agreement on October 26, 2011. Nara Prefecture, with a population of 1.29 million, served as the capital of Japan from 710 to 784.

○ Governor Kim visited Tokyo on February 16 to attend the opening ceremony of the Japan Office.
