○ A 20-member delegation headed by Governor Soichiro Myashita of Aomori Prefecture visited Seoul from June 6 to 8.

○ During their travel, the delegation visited the head office of Korean Air and the Seoul office of Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and called for cooperation in operating the flight 3 times a week, attracting Korean customers, and boosting mutual exchange.

○ The flight between Aomori and Seoul has been back in operation since January 2024, after a 3-year and 10-month of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It now operates 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).
