About APCS (Asian Pacific City Summit)

 

Asian Pacific City Summit(APCS)is an international city network proposed by Fukuoka City and was established in 1994. The Summit has since been held every other year as an international conference of leaders of the Asia-Pacific region. The purpose of the Summit is to promote friendship and mutual cooperation in this region toward solution of urban problems and network-building for further development of Asian cities. It currently has 29 member cities/regions from 13 countries:

 

◈ Korea (4): Busan, Gwangyang, Pohang, Jeju

◈ Japan (9): Kagoshima, Kitakyushu, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Naha,  Oita, Saga, Fukuoka

◈ Chian (5): Guangzhou, Dalian, Shanghai, Urumchi, Hong Kong

◈ Others (11): Auckland, Bangkok, Brisbane, Ho CHI Minh, Singapore, Honolulu, Manila, Jakarta,  Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, Vladivostok
