On October 5, LEE Hana, NEAR's new expert on Japan, received her letter of appointment from Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin and began working at the Secretariat.

After graduating from the International Christian University in Japan, Ms. Lee gained over six years of experience in aviation-related work, consulting firm, and social enterprise. She will be assigned to the International Cooperation Department of the NEAR Secretariat, where she will be responsible for promoting cooperation projects with Japanese members, conducting regional research, and providing Japanese translation and interpretation.

Ms. Lee expressed her hopes to adapt to the job as soon as possible and contribute to developing the NEAR Secretariat, to strengthen cooperation with Japanese members in particular.
