The 15th Sub-Committee on Educational and Cultural Exchange was held on July 31(Fri)~August 5(Wed). This year, a total of 21 undergraduate students participated in the Sub-Committee, including 3 people from Uiduk University and 3 people from Dongguk University (Gyeongju), Korea, 3 people from Ningxia and 3 people from Jilin Province, China, 3 people from Primorsky Territory, Russia, and 6 people from the University of Shimane, Japan. Shimane Prefecture has hosted the Sub-Committee since 2001 and prepared a chance for young people of Northeast Asia to understand and experience Japanese family culture through home-stay while enhancing mutual understanding and friendly relations through this program. Secretary General stated that “I hope young people who will lead the future of Northeast Asia have a good chance to enhance understanding on mutual culture and experience various activities” encouraging participants.
