NEAR Secretary General Jun Jae-won met with Mr. Mizoguchi, Governor of Shimane Prefecture at the Shimane Governor’s office on July 31(Fri) Secretary General Jun expressed his gratitude to Shimane Prefecture for giving unstinting support and cooperation for NEAR ‘s development as a coordinator region of the Sub-Committee on Educational and Cultural Exchange as well as NEAR ‘s founding member. He requested Shimane’s continued cooperation for development in Northeast Asia. Governor Mizoguchi agreed to make efforts to enhance exchange in the future expecting NEAR ‘s cooperation for development and peace in Northeast Asia.
