The Korea International Trade Association and the Federation of Korean Industries hold the 6th Korea-Russia Business Dialogue on November 13 to discuss Joint Action Plan on economic cooperation between Russia and South Korea, participated by more than 350 enterprisers of both countries as part of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official visit to the South Korea. NEAR Secretary General Kim Jae-hyo participated in the meeting with the invitation of Russia and the meeting was participated by representatives of Russian member regions, including Governors of Magadan Region, Irkutsk Region, and Sakhalin Region, and president of the Republic of Tuva. In particular, Russian President Putin who officially visited to South Korea for summit talk with President Park Geun-hye delivered a special speech under the theme of Korea-Russia Economic Cooperation. After a special speech by President Putin, Secretary General Kim discussed exchange and cooperation of two countries with important figures of Irkutsk Region, including Governor of Irkutsk and director of the division of economic development.
