The 10th Sub-Committee on Economy & Humanities Exchange Held The Sub-Committee on Economy & Humanities Exchange was held on December 11-13 at Jeju Island, South Korea for the first time since the Sub-Committee name changed into Sub-Committee on Economy & Humanities Exchange to prosper Northeast Asia cultures among NEAR member regions and promote understanding among member regions by expanding international network on humanities exchange in addition to economic area. In the Sub-Committee, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province delivered a presentation on cases of village enterprises creating stable income and jobs by using specialized resources scattered around the villages, under the theme of “sustainable development cases of historic and traditional village & best cases of management and development of village enterprises and cooperative associations”. After that, each participating member had a discussion delivering a presentation related to the topic.
