Professor Yang Long, assistant dean of the Zhou Enlai School of Government at Nankai University in Tianjin, China, visited the NEAR Secretariat on April 23. Professor Yang, an authority on research in an exchange among China’s regional governmnets, visited the Secretariat, a representative international organization representing exchange among Northeast Asian regional governments as part of his fieldwork, and he discussed Chinaʼs regional government system and talked about NEAR with Secretary General Kim. In addition, Professor Yang granted his consent to cooperation with NEAR by Tianjin joining and promoting NEAR.
