On September 11, KONSTANTINOVA Anastasiia assumed her role as the new expert on Russia at the NEAR Secretariat. Ms. Konstantinova received a letter of appointment from Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin and started working.

Ms. Konstantinova brings a wealth of qualifications to her new role, including a bachelor's degree in economics from the North-Eastern Federal University in Sakha Republic, Russia. She has also amassed seven years of experience in international affairs through her tenure at the Sakha Republic State Government. Furthermore, she holds a master's degree in international studies from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

Ms. Konstantinova will be a valuable addition to the Department of the International Cooperation of the NEAR Secretariat. Her responsibilities will encompass the promotion of collaborative projects with Russian members, the execution of regional research initiatives, and providing translation and interpretation services in Russian.

EGOROV Artem, who has dutifully served as an expert on Russia at the NEAR Secretariat since September 2018, is set to resign from his post in September 2023. Secretary-General Lim expressed his appreciation by presenting Mr. Egorov with a Certificate of Appreciation for his contributions to the Secretariat during his five-year tenure.
