Secretary General Kim met with Governor Vyacheslav Ivanovich Shport of Khabarovsk Territory on 30 May in Changwon City of Gyeongsangnam-do Province along with Mikhail Bondarenko, Head of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in ROK and Dianov Vyacheslav, Director General of the Department of International Relations of Khabarovsk. Invited by Secretary General Kim to the 9^th NEAR General Assembly on 24-27 July in China, Governor Shport said that while he would not be able to attend in person this time, a Khabarovsk delegation would be organized instead and that more attention would be allocated to NEAR activities.
