The 9^th NEAR General Assembly is to be held on 24-27 July under the theme of “Forge Closer Cooperation, Create Joint Prosperity” in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China, co-organized by NEAR and the Government of Ningxia. It will discuss various agendas: the proposal by Jeollanam-do Province (Korea) to host the General Assembly 2014; proposal by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province (Korea) on the extension of its term of office as the host of the Secretariat and the long-term placement of the Secretariat in Gyeongsangbuk-do; Proposal by Secretariat to adopt the membership fee system and many others. Various others events will be organized back-to-back with the meeting, including the Northeast Asia Horticulture Industry Seminar, a tree planting ceremony, cultural tours, art performances.
